Last week, we learned Environment Canada bureaucrats wanted to spend up to $60,000 to study the use of lead bullets and their impact on the environment.
What an absurd waste of taxpayer money.
There is no doubt that the Liberals and NDP would love to use this as an excuse to bring back the wasteful and ineffective long-gun registry.
Fortunately, we have a Conservative government and a Conservative Prime Minister.
As soon as we heard about this proposal, we acted – and the project was immediately scrapped.
Hunting, angling, trapping, and sports-shooting are an important part of life for many Canadians. Conservatives recognize that – and we’ll continue to stand up for them in Ottawa.
